MPD Series Vertical Disc Plastic Pulverizer

The MPD series is a new-generation vertical disc pulverizer engineered for low power consumption and high-quality powder output. It is designed primarily for grinding polyethylene (PE — including LLDPE, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC — both rigid and soft), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), ABS, Nylon, EVA and PET. By using this pulverizer, manufacturers can reduce production cost, perform material modification and improve end-product quality.

The complete pulverizing system consists of an independent control cabinet, pulverizer main machine, cyclone separator, airlock, vibrating screen, induced draft fan, dust collector, hopper and piping.

  • Water + air dual cooling — the optimized grinding chamber has a minimal cross-section with an almost flat vertical grinding surface. Material is captured, sheared and rapidly conveyed through the grinding chamber, eliminating material surging and preventing thermal decomposition, which increases throughput.
